I mean it's actual weapons profile / bracket, hyrbid, projectile, laser etc. It's in the explosives category so doesn't get the projectile bonus from the assault.

The flaylock is classed as an explosive weapon, not a projectile weapon, hence no bonus.

It's been posted about before, it doesn't say in the trained skill description but if you look in the Market / Skills / Dropsuit Upgrades the Nanocircuity book describes it giving the 5% reduction.

Someone else has reported not being able to spawn in with a heavy suit either, I know it may not be beneficial if you have your SP in heavys but try spawning using a different size frame

Allowed me to choose to quit the game. Quick edit, I've just done that whole rebuild database thing along with the other option I forget the name of to see if that makes a difference but I doubt it. Will see if it happens again.
